Description was dead wrong… Nice gas cap but definitely did not fit my original 1971 c10 gas tank, this did fit my 1967 c10 perfectly (I did not need a gas cap for that truck). The 69-72 c10’s have a smaller hole circumference and needs the deeper locking tabs to lock it in place properly. Good gas cap or not… I wasted my money, now I have spend more money to order the correct 1971 c10 gas cap.
