Found metal in the oil pan and what looks like bearing material. Giving positive feedback because engine runs good, extremely fast shipping, and pretty good communication. I did ask for an extended warranty but never got a response.! This is the 3rd engine I’ve purchased from them, going to try a different supplier next time to see if I get an engine that clearly has over 100k miles as this one did.

Indeed the engine that you purchased was not compatible with your vehicle altough they look very similar in the pictures. The lower part of the engine is completely different from the other Subarus and it is only compatible with the 2010 2011 2012 Legacy and Outback.
