This pump is not really a good replacement for the balboa part #1030056. It meets the power requirements perfectly, but the top connection is 1 1/2” taller than the Balboa. The footprint is also different as well and doesn’t fit on the bolts of my hot tub. The front connection is also 1 1/2” longer than the Balboa that it was replacing. It took several days to rearrange my heater and other connections. That said, the pump is quiet, runs smoothly and no vibration, unlike the Balboa.
