Item from seller seems authentic. However, although Clinique has reputation for dermatologically safe and non-allergenic products, this one did not agree with my sensitive skin. Moments after I applied the gel, my face broke up in red spots over my nose and cheeks. Had to wash my face and apply aloe vera to calm my skin. Not the seller's fault, but this product is not for me.
