Sound and square, half calf binding, with marbled paper covering the boards. Some wear to the spine ends. Rubbed along the edges. A few scuffs to lower board. Previous bookseller's notations in pencil on the front endpapers. Endpapers are tanned. Lacks the title page and any other preliminaries for the second speech. The inside pages have toning and some foxing, with the pages being rippled. Previous owner's name on the title page. The bottom fore-corners are rounded and they and the bottom edges have occasional light soil or damage. One page has a tiny margin hole. Eighteen or so pages in the second speech have some neat pencil underlining.”
