I originally ordere 1 of these from this vendor and a 2nd from another. The other was same exact clamp in old but perfect working condition.
This one has a bent adjusting screw shaft, which is detrimental to function.

I just received the item.
It turns out the spring hinge is not functional at all.
The hinge arm remains open and it does not swing back in.
I don't know why you did not even mention this in the description.
