I've been using these filters in my Hamilton Beach single cup coffee maker for years. The coffee maker has a double basket for regular grind drip coffee. Some of the coffee I have used has so much coffee bean oil in it that it clogs the fine second filter screen and causes the coffee maker to over flow. Placing the tiny Java Jig paper filter between the coarse and fine screen baskets causes the bean oil residue to be filtered out. I usually get 2 cups of coffee per filter.
