I will never regret the extra cost of titanium. I ride quite aggressively and needed to know that my handlebars would not strip. It locks up so tight and is so hard, that I have a lot of confidence in it. I can feel the solidity of it with this part and would caution not to buy plastic from China, or even aluminum from anywhere else if you are a thrill seeker on your bike; they won’t hold. This will, when properly installed, lol up as good or better, than stock…and the feel that I get is TIGHT.
