Original cloth with gilt titles and decorations to front and spine. Beautifully illustrated by Arthur Rackham with 50 tipped in colour plates, all with captioned tissue guards. All present and correct and in good order. In very nice condition with a little wear and bumping to corner tips and spine ends, some darkening to spine, a little fraying to the spine ends and edges (see pictures). Binding sound and square. A little browning to the decorative end papers and prelims, otherwise internally clean and free of inscriptions. A really lovely illustrated first edition.”
