    Rondels are intended to be part of a 3 or 4 color strip for lighting a cyclorama. My disappointment is NOT due to the rondel, but my unfamiliarity with the item. The colors aren’t as saturated as I expected, probably intended to help make these dark colors brighter, and they have ridges, similar to a fresnel lens, which spreads the light out to more evenly light a cyc. I bought them to be “never change gels”, ignorant of rondel characteristics. They’ll work, just not exactly as I expected.
