These are high quality small strobes at an excellent price. They have a Minolta hot-shoe which I modified to attach a short PC Sync cord for use with film cameras. If you want a small strobe for off-camera use with film cameras, these strobes are excellent choices ... if you feel comfortable soldering small connections in tight quarters. I bought a total of 10 of these strobes to have studio-quality lighting when RVing.

These Minolta 4000AF strobes arrived as expected and were new in original packages and well protected. I am adding an optical slave sensor and 3.5 foot PC sync cord. I use Lean Cuisine and other plastic frozen meal dishes 5" ahead as diffusion to soften the light. I wanted these strobes as they are very high quality and inexpensive because they use a now non-standard hot shoe (which I don't need for my use). I bought 7 of these to use as "studio quality" lighting when RVing and away from home.
