Original blue cloth with titles and decoration to front and spine. Beautifully illustrated with 16 colour plates by Charles Folkard. The book is in nice condition with some wear and bumping to extremities, front board a little bowed (see pictures). Binding sound and square. All plates are present and correct. One plate has a small tear to the inner joint (see pictures). Small neat gift inscription to the decorative end papers. Tiny amount of colouring to end paper. A very nice copy. Scarce.”
