On the positive side the optical cell works, so I can use it, just have to set the power and modeling light manually. The price was decent so I'm not complaining. I bought the insurance package, but have yet to receive it the mail. There might be a company on the East Coast that can repair if I feel like sending it off.

This way I can easily attach a PD strap to hang camera in several configurations as needed or desired. The PD anchors provide a way to easily attach and remove a neck strap or wrist strap with one hand while holding the camera in the other. Very ingenious concept. If you’re looking for simplicity and near perfection, try PD gear. Well worth the price.
