There is no filter inside the fuel pump. The electrical connection dd not allow the Walker B23i to plug straight in (probably a Walker thing more then Kohler) I used a combination of OEM pump housings. OEM top with this (new) bottom and to make up for lack of pump filter introduced inline filter right before the pump.. do not do after pump (high pressure)
NO ISSUES doing it this way 20 days now used every day for at least 3 hours.
