I kept this around as a backup unit. I had three backups that I tested a few years ago. One ran, not this one, and two had carb issues and would not run or fire unless I put mix down the carb from the air filter. Both then fired and ran briefly till the mix ran out. Feels like it has good compression, im able to pick it up with none to very little of the recoil spooling out. Cosmetically the outer is pretty clean and mostly sun fade and muffler corrosion free, a bit of corrosion on the muffler but not as bad as I often see on machines of this age, likely stored inside when not in use. Carb may be rebuildable but if my memory is correct when I took them off to clean the two that did not work it seemed more of a disposable type carb to me. Shows some scuffs scratches dust grease grime soiling remains from previous use. See photos and the additional photos in the description box for further condition details.”
