Hi there, so sorry to hear about the pitch being off on that player!! You should be able to adjust it by popping the unit open starting along the edges, and being careful not to break the plastic tabs that hold it together. Inside there's a tiny metal 'dial' that you can use an eyeglass screwdriver, or something small like that to adjust the speed. Again so sorry about this.
