I'm somewhat at a loss for words. The figures in question should be over 20 years old and the listing said used, yet they have this sheen as though they were made fresh yesterday. It's the very definition of mint condition. This item is exceedingly rare and there is little recorded evidence of its existence on the English-speaking web. The seller provided me with Japanese blog archives which gave me the background info I was desperately looking for! I'll cherish this object.
