Subaru will ask $6000 for a new one, never mind labor for installation. The original lasted to 120k, so maybe with some extra care this one can last even longer. Only have around 150 on the new one, but nothing strange going on, drives ok, no dash lights. Dealer tried to scare me into having them install it “because it needs to be programmed, only dealers have the software for that.” I took myself to work every day for a week, didn’t bring it in to be programmed.
