The Seagate STAA500100 has a chic, black finish and has a capacity of 500 GB. The plug-and-play feature allows this Seagate 500 GB GoFlex hard drive to be used straight from the box and files can be interchangeably accessed on PCs and Macs without reformatting. The USB2.0 interface allows this Seagate external hard drive to achieve fast external transfer speeds up to 480 Mb/s. The Seagate STAA500100 is preloaded with software that performs automatic backups and encrypts them for maximum security. Additionally, this Seagate 500 GB Go flex hard drive is fully compatible with other Seagate GoFlex storage systems for maximum integration.
