STEADFAST SOLDIERS of ENGLAND Metal 15th LUDHIANA SIKHS at the March, an infantry regiment in the British Indian Army. The 4 sikhs wear red coats with green facings, half trousers with red stripe, yellow turbans with red swirls. 3 sikhs carry bayonets over the right shoulder; the officer carries a sword in his right hand, and has a side sword on his left. Officers’s turban has a special silver insignia on the front. Steadfast Soldiers models consistently win the “British Toymakers Guild Award for Excellence” (see interior of box’s top). Stamp on base reads: STEADFAST SOLDIERS MADE IN ENGLAND BORBUR ENT Copyright 1989. 1:32/54mm. Box= 1-1/2”H x 7-3/4”W x 3-3/4”. WT= 0.45 lbs. NOTE: When original packing materials are not provided, we carefully pack the pieces for shipping. Each is individually wrapped, first in tissue paper, then in bubble-wrap. Straws cover horse’s legs, weapons and the like.”
