Prior to my purchase I inquired as to whether this microphone required phantom power. The answer was completely non-sensical and worthless.
I assume the reason this microphone element doesn’t work is that it needs phantom power. Providing power to a mic element is not that big of a deal, I would have preferred if the response to my question had been:
Yes, the microphone element requires an external power source of between 5 VDC and 48 VDC.
Do not expect ANY support from this vendor!
