There is a reason top shelf studios as well as amateurs like these speakers. Lots of detail, fabulous low end, and the room calibration system is an obvious plus for home studio users. They are suitable not only for mixing/mastering, but also very pleasant for casual listening. Although they are small they do not sound small. Handy, among other things, is the fact that they fit on a mike stand.
