I have a 1978 Honda Goldwing GL1000 and this cable does not fit or work with my bike. After tinkering a little with the cable to try to make it work, it eventually just came apart at the receiver end. I suggest buying from Niche industries instead. They are a little more expensive but it looks like they have better quality.
