Seller Notes: “Excellent, nearly pristine, almost immaculate overall vint cond: This particular black & white ... “Excellent, nearly pristine, almost immaculate overall vint cond: This particular black & white pencil signed wood engraving 'Mill On The Aspetuck' (river in southwestern Connecticut) by the highly collected & noted American print maker John De Pol (1913-2004) is in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC as well as in the Brooklyn Museum in New York City. John De Pol's signature wood engravings are in many important private as well as public collections. The framed piece is in 100% absolutely orig, vint, 'as-found,' 'as-is' untouched cond. From an estate on the South Shore of MA, south of Boston. Clearly titled, signed & dated in graphite along the lower print margin. The print hasn't been removed from the frame. It is & continues to be as it was discovered in the estate. In extraordinarily well-preserved overall vint cond. Magnificent.”
