I've had the same shipping schedule for over 20 years and the reason is because my work schedule doesn't allow me to ship items out any faster. It can actually take up to 2 weeks to ship out an item because of my work schedule and that is also stated in the listing as I only ship out on "business days" which are Monday thru Friday.
