There was a minor issue during the collar installation because the shifter’s 14mm diameter meant the tightening screws would stick out a little. The trick was to get the screws evenly tightened so they all stuck out the same amount. Even then, plastic shavings ended up everywhere once the screws were properly secured. Would still recommend giving it a try for those looking for a low cost alternative to OEM .
