It is sound and square in its cloth-covered boards binding, with bevelled edges. The corners and theends do have a little wear. The boards show some foxing and light soil. Inside, the pages are clean and unmarked overall, but there is an occasional pencil mark or a little soil to a cover or page. A few tiny edge tears. The pages have been trimmed in binding with loss to some of the margins. I detect a very faint smoke smell but it is not obvious.”
