I use NOS or unused spare tyres all the time, happy enough with them up to 10 years old as they have been in a boot in the dark for that time, but 17 years old is pushing it a bit too far, think this one will have to go to the dump, My error should have checked but maybe seller should have said as this is a very old tyre well beyond its sell by date
