Tape indeed plays great and both the tape and case look brand new. Unfortunately, I wish I could've noticed the tape was actually the second movie (Aliens) and not the first (Alien) before I made my purchase. Otherwise I wouldn't have accidentally bought the wrong movie. Not sure how the second movie got into the case of the first movie, but I'm still greatful I now own such a rare tape that plays like new!
