Seller Notes: “For sale is this very nice early Hohner Cromatic harmonica 'THE CHROMONICA". It is missing it's ... “For sale is this very nice early Hohner Cromatic harmonica 'THE CHROMONICA". It is missing it's spring-back clip. The chromatic slide still functions but needs to be pulled in and out using thumb and index fingers. The original screws are there and it seems it could be replaced without too much difficulty. The sound is bright and brilliant. It comes as shown in it's original retail box. The box hinge appears to have been repaired fairly recently with what we are guessing is production 'gaffers' tape, possibly suggesting this was used as a prop. the clasp secures the contents tightly. What is most noteworthy are the advertising and slogans on the bottom of the box. Rarer to see these on the boxes as they tend to peel away in the first decade or so of ownership.”
