My battery went flat dead, killed, wouldn't take a charge. Got a new battery, 2005 GMG 2500HD was drawing 2.5 amps with a cheap clamp on amp meter. Inspection found a dozen wires under fuse box in engine compartment had been chewed bare. Repaired, still had current draw with flickering dash instruments and engine starting before key was all the way to start. Changed BCM, did relearn key procedure. Bam, all is right in the world. Truck runs, turn it off and no current draw. BCM shipped ASAP.
