Second unit failed just after 24 months, I average 5500-6000miles per year, mostly motorway route. I purchased replacement, so I could send warranty item back. I was refunded the original purchase price rather than the cost of the new item (higher price), but you get what you pay for, I'm a tech so labour was free, otherwise you'd probably want something more reliable or would be costly.
