The cheap, poorly designed metal gasket did not provide enough clearance to allow the fuel valve to open and close freely. Consequently, I needed to reuse the original gaskets not knowing if this "fix" would work. It appears to work in the short-term, although I have concerns about it lasting. Also, I needed to file part of the connecting plastic assembly to allow the choke to open fully. A lot of extra work was required to use the part.
