Boots with zippers showed up fast. Fairly lightweight but warm, room for thick socks. Curious what they're intended to be used for. I am building doing a little construction. I suppose the zipper is good for special situations if you're liable to break or sprain your ankle & you need to take care of yourself. Zip your foot back in the boot, use it as a splint or cast. Or you're worn out tired half asleep take them off easy.
