Seller Notes: “Good-Very Good overall vint cond: For sale is this wonderful, post-WWII, American vint litho'd ... “Good-Very Good overall vint cond: For sale is this wonderful, post-WWII, American vint litho'd enml, pressed steel toy dump truck, w/lifting rear dump bed, fantastically dec dump bed sidewalls & milky grn cab & chassis enml pnt, w/rd enml dump scoop bucket & blue, blk, silver & red dump bed, litho'd enml color array. It was made just after the end of WWII, when steel was scarce & in great demand by the US military for the war effort overseas. It's c.1945-1950 & was prod by Louis Marx Co. NY. There's some scratches, scuffs & minor-mod enml paint loss in places, esp found along the edges & corners. It's missing the hinged gate of the rear dump bed. A rare Marx color comb for this model toy dump truck. It has orig blk hard rubber tires & orig, 1st gen enml pnt. No dings, dents, chassis or cab deformities. The rear dump bed lifts up & down easily & is op w/a steel wire lever on 1 side of the truck. A really terrific American vint litho'd enml, pressed steel toy dump truck. Great graphics.”
