This item comes with certification papers verifying it\s registration and authenticity. As these were halted in production after World War 2, the piece is likely produced in the early or pre-showa era. The blade shows speckling but the overall item is in amazing condition for it's age with a very sharp clean blade, strong handle, and weighted perfectly. The exterior wood of the piece is absolutely stunning compared to others of it's age. We have not opened up the blade to confirm tang fullness as it came with authenticity papers when acquired, indicating markings and size. Please see all pictures for full representation before purchasing.”

I received the bag as it was described, and it’s super gorgeous. I immediately decorated the bag and really love it. I was just surprised with the hefty import fees as I already have paid for shipping and taxes on top of the item price, but then again it is out of their control.
