Like the previous one, it was an open box. The iPod does have a few lines at the bottom which I'm not sure are scratches or cracks (see picture), but they aren't very noticeable. When I connected it, it had to be configured for a PC (it came configured for a Mac). The important thing is that it works, and the accessories work too. I would order from SwopBud again.
