Seller needs to add a disclaimer stating that the hardware only works for 240z and 260z. The hardware provided is 8mm whereas the 280Z needs 10mm. The hardware is too short which only allows a couple of threads for the nut. Unsafe. Buyers for 280Z need grub screws and serrated lock washers. So, while the axles fit, the screws caused clunking and I had to source separate hardware from an alternative source. - e***r (460)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchase2 issues with axle. on the hub/tire side, the bolts that came with kit are too short. not long enough to reach the locking part of the lock nut. nut loosens even with loctite. using longer bolt however the bolt will not go in on either side due to interference. currently no solution. second on the diff side, clearance issue. the oem lca is very close to the boot clip. after first road test the boot clip came off and damaged boot. seller offered to replace boot but asking for shipping label.Reply from: supraae86- Feedback replied by seller supraae86.- Feedback replied by seller supraae86.The feedback you leave is total different story than the one you send the message to us. The messgae you told us is "hello... i installed the cv axle today and all is well. after a test drive the driver side axle leaked grease. it appears i will need to repack it. where can i get replacement boot and clips???" So the installation is fine and somehow you broken the parts and ask us for replacement boot, we agree to give you the free boot but you need to pay shipping labels.
