Alternator arrived quickly. I was not able to reuse the Porsche 928 'factory alternator cooling duct' however this upgraded unit appears to not need it. Factory protective engine cover also could not be reinstalled at it was making contact with the alternator. A modification of my engine cover would allow it to mounted again. Voltage being reported on the dashboard is higher than the previous lower amperage alternator but not as high as I would expect and wanted for a 200 amp unit.

The alternator fit but I had to swap pulleys from my old alternator. Also, I couldn’t install the the cooling duct cover to the new alternator but the seller stated this new and improved version did not need it. Very good communication.

Love these guys alternators and you can't beat the price. I've had 3 of the 350 amp alts and they work great. Now I'm gonna try these two 400 amp blue powder coated alts. They always do a great job on packaging and if you have any questions on how to wire something up they are helpful. Will always buy my alternators from them.
