This Western Digital RE Enterprise (WD2000FYYZ) SATA III hard drive offers a massive 2TB capacity, meaning you’ll have room for up to 2,000 hours of video footage, 34,000 hours of music, or more than half a million high-definition photos. You can expect top performance with the lightning fast 6 Gb/s SATA III (Serial ATA-600) interface speed, sustained sequential data rates of 171 MB/s, and high random I/O rates. This drive utilizes enhanced RAFF technology to monitor for and correct any vibration in real time, resulting in significantly increased performance. It also has a feature called StableTrac, which helps the hard drive perform more efficiently by reducing vibration. The Western Digital RE Enterprise (WD2000FYYZ) 2TB drive has a dual actuator head-positioning system that improves positional accuracy over the data track(s).
