The lower ball joint had excessive wear (loose) and needed replaced. The bearing cap looks like somebody took a sludge hammer to it. If you screenshot the listing pictures and really zoom in you can then see the damage. The bearing was extremely overpacked with grease and appeared to be green, not high temp red. Typical yard pullers to say the very least.
