Poor packing and weak box lead to the breakage of a rare piece that was part of a set. Worse still packing instructions were given that were completely ignored. Seller rather than consulting on a fair solution just only gave a £10 refund and then no further communication to my query. The item cost £75 but all up with expenses cost £175. I wouldn’t trust this seller with packing, following instructions or putting a trade right when they’ve caused damage.

I dispute the assertion that the packing was poor or that the box was weak. We had already given a £10 discount on the original selling price of £85, and the buyer did not appear to appreciate that there is an inherent risk in sending a delicate item to the other side of the world, and was confrontational. This is the first complaint we have had in over a year.
