Seller Notes: “We carefully examined this item. This item is not framed under glass. The frame is a hard plastic ... “We carefully examined this item. This item is not framed under glass. The frame is a hard plastic material. The corners of the frame show some gaps or separations (see photographs). The beadwork appears to be laid down on a rigid canvas board. There are threads used on the backside to hold it in place. The backing of the frame appears to be a Masonite board with metal clips and hangers attached. NO Missing Glass Beads, Tears, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. The beadwork panel appears all intact and firmly attached to the canvas. When examining the velvet satin material on the backside, we did notice that there is some color fading and wear that may have occurred on the exposed the front side. We believe this panel was framed sometime in the mid 20th Century and was probably hung on the wall. Please remember this is an antique item that is over 100 years old. It will show some signs of wear from use over the years.”
