New as promised and working appropriately. However, the asking price was a sizable price-gauge — the seller was taking advantage of a scarce market as this is not sold anymore — but far too much advantage, in my opinion, since the seller is a somewhat larger business with plenty more of the same item in stock in the date of this post. Nevertheless, this was a by-whatever-means-necessary purchase for me, which is why I purchased regardless. Fantastic product. Not the best seller pricing.
