Seller Notes: “This offering is for an antique early 20th century men's wool over coat or trench coat. The ... “This offering is for an antique early 20th century men's wool over coat or trench coat. The original label is still in place and reads in part "LONDON COUNTRY BUSES GRADE OF STAFF DRIVER GARMENT OVERCOAT ITEM 47 SIZE 040 BRIGGS, JONES & GIBSON LTD". We have included the full measurements below and I'm guessing the size is about a medium. The coat is made of a dark hunter green wool with a black wool collar. The coat features a working double breasted front with six buttons. There is a button hole on each side of the lapel to allow for butting it up at the neck but it looks like buttons were never included for them. There is a large slit pocket on each side and one inside breast pocket. The coat is also fully lined in a black cotton. There is a very small amount of scattered surface mothing but nothing easily noticeable. The collar is excellent with no wear, overall the condition is amazing.”
