    Initially, I thought the only part that I needed was the outer seal but after greasing my original components with silicon they began to deteriorate and I replaced everything. It works far better than what was there and the wipers flopping up and riding off of the windshield! I purchased other 3-D equipment for the headlights and they also work on the wiper motor. Don't hesitate because rubber grommets don't work. I know because I tried.
