The IC came packaged very poorly. It was just thrown into two layers of a plastic shipping bag, and thus had bend legs at the corners.
It also did not work after bending them straight, maybe it was damaged due to the not ESD safe packaging, maybe some other reason.
In the end i replaced it with again with an IC form another seller, as i did not know if the chip was really at fault, which in the end did work.
