Seller Notes: “This item is in good vintage condition; tan art paper affixed to cardboard by artist with glue, ... “This item is in good vintage condition; tan art paper affixed to cardboard by artist with glue, resulting in slight wrinkling & surface smudging, paper tears w/repairs at corners,backboard worn,stains, some chipping. We have not attempted to correct this as we are not art conservators; This is an item that is 70 years old & has not been stored with best of care. Purchased not framed/matted. Paint is casein paint on art paper, appears bright, crisp, with no apparent fading. Quickly painted, possibly on site. Signed 'Fred Yost,1955,Omaha Resv., Sioux., LR', done as part of his series on Native American culture. Measures: 28"x 44" for total board; artwork is: 26" X 40". Purchased as part of collection of artist's original work. Artwork was part of Yost's one-man show 'Pow Wow', at Canton Museum of Art, Canton, Ohio, Jan.1960, copy of brochure from this event included in listing. See photos for details.”
