Pretty easy to install. Bought for my 2016 VW Jetta 1.8t
Did not use a lift, back the car on ramps and had enough room to install the hitch. Only hard part was aligning the exhaust bracket to install new bolts. Recommend having an extra set of hands to hold and move things around. Otherwise it’s great. Tows my seadoo Trixx easy.
