      It is as described...but my concern is the scratches are deep...I don't have confidence in using it in an oven, but it can probably be used for refrigerated cream pies without incident. Such a pretty pie plate too. Well packaged and not over priced. Shipping is always pricey for larger items so I know that cost can't be helped. Thank you for describing the scratches, as I was certain they were full cracks upon arrival.
